My assessments (I don't eat them, so I just assess people eating them :)
OMG, smaller cupcake and simpler. Deservedly so because it is denser.
Joe's is an in-be-tweeny. Rich, delicious, people were 'yumming' and sharing them because they were so dense and flavorful
Endulge (I like the name!) over the top. This is the special occassion cupcake. Nicely decorated, a tad larger than others but the lightness calls for it, sinful in a different way from Joe's sinful flavors offered.

Cupcake eaters in the hood would have no problem going to a different nice place every day of the week and having a nice cupcake (or other treat, say from UC, just to 'round out the goodness). Wash it all down on Saturday with a Morellis!!!

With all these cupcake places opening up, I suspect Smoochies is gonna get a lot of new business here pretty soon.

Can the OP modify the title to specify which cupcake place they are referring to??  I'm getting confused.
Or maybe they're happy and content, living their little donut lives until the monstrous humans come along to rip their doughy flesh open with their teeth, sucking up their jelly innards.

You can't eat any. That should avoid all confusion :)

With all of this cupcake talk, I didn't want the vegans to feel left out.

Dulce Vegan in Kirkwood has AWESOME vegan cupcakes and cake!  I've had almost all of them - red velvet, PB&J, lemon, chocolate almond, etc.  Their poundcake and scones are to die for, not to mention the hot cinnamon rolls!   Grab a soy latte and cozy up.

They also have delicious breakfast and lunch stuff.  I love their TLT and McMuffin.

If you haven't tried it and are over on Hosea, I highly recommend them.

I loved my sandwich today.  I know you'll have a cupcake in my future...

I was so tempted to try them this weekend but after having to choose between the 2 treat places Morelli's won out.  Although, I am looking forward to trying them on the next trip to Little Azio's/Morelli's.

Assuming we're still talking about Hodgepodge...

Went in on Saturday morning to grab something for breakfast.  Got a sweet potato scone for the wife and a bacon and cheese muffin for myself.  Both were fantastic.  Just wanted to let people know that they bake more than just cupcakes...
