I would be so interested in doing this. Unfortunately, I can't really get out of work to set up at 4:30... maybe I can get a roommate to man my chili until I can get there.

Sounds like a plan.

I really have to dust off my vegetarian chili skills and get cooking on this.  Maybe I'll try to come up with a few ideas this weekend.

Unfortunately my lady's stomach can't handle spice, so I'll be eating it all by myself if it turns out well.

I'm wondering myself now.

And the offer is much appreciated, but in another universe-smiling event (depending on who you are, I guess Grin), I got a free Falcons ticket that day.

Stick around if you happen to be fans of Sunday night TV, particularly Desperate Housewives.

What?  Huh?  Noooooo!  Those things don't go together!
If you are gonna be eating chili all day, you have to watch football or some show about burly leathermens welding something.  You know something "manly" for the "mens"

I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that’s on the worst day of my life.

AK has a running DH group of pretty young ladies that come to the house and watch it. That said, before DH we will be watching something else manly. Sports are on, Simpsons should be new, and maybe we will watch porn.

I dunno what the heck you all are going on about, but the Chili cook off is:
Thursday, October 30th 4:30-7 pm at the East Atlanta Farmers Market.

Don't confuse Spanky, she's loopy. Or at least she thinks she's Loopy because she is on
pain pills and just not herself.

Yes, to be clear and I didn't mean to thread jack but all is fair in free chili right?

The point of this thread is Thursday, October 30th 4:30-7 pm at the East Atlanta Farmers Market will be a chili cookoff.

I thread jacked with this a chili good time but completely unrelated.

Nathan's Chili Potluck - Sunday, October 12th, 2008 - This is a chance for some of us to practice out some chili  cooking and if you are interested in coming and tasting their will be plenty. It will be a test run for some of us to go to Chomp and Stomp as well as East Atlanta Farmers Market cook off. Mine is not really a cook off but more of a tasting!

Sorry guys I didn't mean to jack the thread and detract from the event at the Farmers Market, speaking of that event, I have a crock pot and will travel, can I get in on it?
