Kenny, do you think the "open" Buzz is ready for this?

Quote
Jeff Notrica — Owner

Jeff is an Atlanta native who, captivated by its people, quality of life and southern charm because he was run out of Atlanta on a rail, moved to Savannah several years ago. Owning a contiguous property, Jeff bought the Dresser Palmer House in 2004 when it became available. Having owned a small inn in Atlanta (which he, no doubt, lost to foreclosure), Jeff takes a very active role in the day to day operations of the Dresser Palmer House. Don’t be surprised to see him checking you in when you arrive or fixing drinks at the evening social, because he needs the money and can't afford to hire professional hoteliers.

I can't believe that is the first picture I've seen of him... has anyone ever seen Jeff & Danny in the same room?

Great article -- and I think two link's to the Cap'n's excellent Notrica coverage.  I believe the "small parking lot" purchased for $127,000 in East Atlanta and later mortgaged for $600,000 is the parcel next to Earthshaking that is currently chained off by the property owner who foreclosed on Jeff's mortgage in 2010.  Thanks again Jeff "Scum Slug" Notrica!

I wonder if he propositions his customers asking for blow jobs in exchange for rent like he did to many female tenants that stayed in his Ralph McGill property in the 90's?

He is a low life sack of wine through and through.

I think everyone should get on tripadvisor and post a review of his inn, with a link to this article and some words of 'appreciation' for what he's done in the village.

... and open yourself up to very real legal issues. I wouldn't suggest anybody post phony reviews intended to negatively impact somebody's business.

And honestly, wouldn't it be more appropriate to "dine" and "dash"??

Ha Ha! This was the comment I saw that led to me thinking the same thing: "Don’t be surprised to see him checking you in when you arrive or fixing drinks at the evening social."

;P~  that totally makes me (not that I'd go to a place he owns) never want to set foot in there.

But would elaborating on his bio really count as a 'review'?  I wouldn't suggest phony reviews either, just link the article and some comments about his slumlord management and neglect of properties.

If you went on TripAdvisor and wrote something in their review section that was not, in fact, a review but rather an unrelated specific attempt to make the guy look bad ... don't think I'd do that.

When I lived there I had multiple women that lived there tell me the same story.
