Hahahah, yeah, applebees would be a perfect fit.

No, I want to try to get the scooter store I work at in there.  We're in a 4000sq building and it's just too small, that and we want to buy a location instead of renting.  That, and we get people driving from OTP to come to our store in midtown, it'd be great to get some extra foot traffic both for us and the village.  We'd have to get involved with stuff like the strut just because of the location, which would also be cool.

That, and I live 2 minutes away, which would be awesome beyond words!!

It's not just a scooter store, it's a Moto Guzzi dealership!

That would be perfect for the people at Brannan Towers. Do you take Medicaid?  :P

Not my fault when people fail to properly illustrate a joke via YouTubing.

My jokes require no illustration to be funny.

have you looked into the space behind MSR & across from La Casita?  The big building would be a good showroom/office/boutique and the old garage next door would be a great repair shop... and you don't pay a premium for high traffic frontage (you use the savings to put an ad on one of Abe's billboards... if we can't take 'em down, at least we could try to use them for local businesses)

also, you could install monster lighting (and video cameras) on the roof to illuminate the alley and parking lot behind Graveyard...

Isn't that occupied by Hinds BBQ?  (Which, by the way, have they reopened yet after the holidays?)

Sorry, hate to be a downer, but $17.00 a square foot is not a deal.  That's what you pay downtown.  Heck, some places downtown go for $9.00 a square foot.   I bet if the owner lowered the price to $9.00 a square foot you would have some takers - that would be able to afford the space and stay in there long term.

I think JBB is speaking of the salon space across the street from La Casita and directly behind MSR. Also an IPP joint, I believe.

If it's this place: https://dklbweb.dekalbga.org/TaxAssessor/realDisplay.asp?PID=15%20176%2004%20025 then I think it's probably too small, listed at 1500sq., but I'm probably reading the diagrams incorrectly.
