Reporting issues to village property owners
« on: July 04, 2007, 01:24 pm »
If you'd like to contact a commercial property owner regarding problems or violations on their property, below is a list of contact information that SHOULD work:

Inman Park Properties:
contact: Jason Howard (co-owner: Ace Hardware)
email: jason (at) eavillagehardware.com

Jason is VERY responsive and can usually get a crew out pretty quickly to address issues once reported, but he also doesn't have the bandwidth to actively patrol all the properties. If you don't get a response by email and you don't see any activity on the problem area within 48 hours or so, drop by Ace and check in with him in person.

Abe Asher:
contact: Abe Asher
phone: 404-514-3384

I have no idea if the phone number posted here works. If you've had any success contacting Abe Asher, please PM me the contact info you used and I'll post it here. Otherwise, you may be best off contacting the tenant to discuss the issue and asking them to contact Abe. Not sure what to do about a vacant property - code enforcement may be the best route in that case.

Don Bender:
contact: Don Bender

Don's EXCELLENT about keeping his properties clean and well-maintained, and I've never had a need to contact him. Does anyone know if Don has a preferred method of contact for reporting issues?

If you're not sure who owns a property, please refer to the
map of multi-property owners.

I'll expand / update this list as I get more / better contact information.

This might be a handy something for the newsletter.  Ima axe Myron first, but if we OK it, and if we credit you, mind if it goes in the EACA newsletter?

Does anybody know if Abe has an office or employees? Shit, at least IPP has that...
by the way, Don rocks. He is the greatest. He attends village events and some of our special art events and really cares about small, independent businesses. He walks the walk and we love him :)%

I am an agent leasing one of Don's other properties. I have his cell which I really don't want to give out here.  I don't know his office number, however his offices are in the old library (ReMax office in the village).  You can drop by his office or contact me and I can relay the message.  I seriously doubt anyone will need to contact him...he very responsible with his properties.

I love that logic, and you're right. A guy who owns properties he keeps leased and keeps in good shape isn't likely to have people bugging him.
