In case you missed it via Facebook, a really great feature on the Pallooka-man, and a teaser for his newest venture . . .

Ok, where shall we start?!??

Shall we initiate the processing of the Brunswick Stew?  I'm good for a gallon (regular).

I believe I will also be attempting to coerce Twit into spending a portion of our market allocation on the Corned Beefs.

Good.  Good.

Soon as we get two more I'll place the order and do the pick up when ready (I'm probably closest anyway).  If you want anything else we could include it in the same order and just reimburse me for everything when we divvy up.

Next time you drink a homebrew, thank Jimmy Carter, who on October 14, 1978 signed H.R.1337 legalizing homebrewing in the United States.

Is there a Pigmata! website where one can view products/prices etc? Pretty sure I could find some folks to do an order if so.

Just the Facebook page.  If you scroll down a little you'll find me trying to sort out my confusion on ordering meats.  It's already caused an argument in this home . . .

Hopefully something more concise is in their future, I imagine it's a very small operation that's put in a lot of work to get it to this point anyway.

Here's why the pricing is vague:
If I was a storefront we'd slice it and you'd buy your portion at the counter.
Here you're buying a whole piece of meat, none of which are the same size. There are weight ranges that they fall into, but can vary. Just like a Kroger. When this becomes a storefront, you'll be able to pick the exact amount - till then it'll have to be a system like this.
Pieces are rounded down to the closest half pound. I.E = 4.5 pounds will be the price per x 4.

Corned Beef can be as small as a pound. That's your choice. I trim those myself. You'll wish you'd have gotten a larger one though. Two people will eat a pound one in one meal. That kiboshes sandwiches and hash.

Stew is in 5 gallon batches as it cooks for 18 hours. I will package it in 1 gallon vacuum bags so it can be frozen. A gallon of stew also isn't as big as you think.

I have a price list coming with cut weight ranges as soon as I get some more info in from one of my providers.

Thanks
Jim
