Rolling Bones?
« on: December 02, 2011, 03:42 pm »
For the past couple of years I have gotten brisket from Rolling Bones for my company's holiday luncheon, but it looks like they are temporarily closed due to a fire.  The source for that info was a post on the the Eater Atlanta web site dated September 9 that said the owner estimated they would be open at the end of the month.  However, their web site is now defunct and phone is disconnected so I'm guessing that didn't happen.

Does anyone by any chance have any info on if/when they will reopen?  If it's not before next week (luncheon is on the 12th), any recommendations for where I could go instead?  It doesn't have to be in the EAV area.

So does BBQSteve.
Or maybe they're happy and content, living their little donut lives until the monstrous humans come along to rip their doughy flesh open with their teeth, sucking up their jelly innards.

You can order a brisket from PIGMATA.
I do three different cuts, Full, Flat and Point and offer either Rubbed or Plain. You can also pick your smoke, Hickory, Apple, Pecan or Pear.
Will need 48 hours notice.

Unfortunately, the luncheon was this Monday.  But I will definitely keep you in mind for next year and any other special events coming up.  What is your cost per pound?
