Found wallet - Brian Glick
« on: March 25, 2016, 04:18 pm »
My husband found a wallet early this morning, while jogging on Brannen.  It looks like it belongs to Brian Glick, possibly from NY or NJ.  Does anyone happen to know him?

And what's the protocol for trying to return a wallet?  I would bring it to the police, but I'm worried they won't/don't do much searching for something like this.  He had some Bank of America cards still in there - is it worth bringing to the bank (or will they just look at us funny)?

I went through this recently, tried calling every card/etc.   Eventually I just dropped it off at the police office and let them deal with it.

Does it have an insurance card?  When I lost my wallet the person found me by calling my insurance company and they either have her my number or they called me.  I can't recall...  But it is worth a shot.

Looks like we're going to have to just drop it off with the police.  Where is the appropriate police station for unincorporated Dekalb, south of EAV?  The county website is very unhelpful.

Unfortunately it's quite a haul... http://web.co.dekalb.ga.us/DK_Police/precincts_south.html

Maybe just pretend you found it on the Fulton side and drop it off in Kirkwood? http://www.atlantapd.org/zone6.aspx

Since the wallet was found literally a few hundred feet from the county line, we'll probably go to Kirkwood and just approximate where it was dropped.  Thanks!
