we took two of our friends there a few weeks ago, and mmm mmm. so good. i had the medium sized soup, and it was a lot of food, i could have just gotten the small bowl.  nonetheless, the prices are great, most items are under $10, which is great for us. oh the marinated pork dish:

There was a CBS news truck out in front with it'''s''' (have an apostrophe for lunch- yum!) telescopic satellite thinger up in the air all like "Look at me broadcasting."  I hope the visit was gastro motivated and not asshat motivated.

I have to say, these guys let me down the other night. We went in 45 mins before closing and they turned us away.

I used to work back of house. I get it. You don't walk into a restaurant 5 mins before closing. But closing a kitchen 45 mins early is really stretching it. I don't care how slow of a night you had.
