This past holiday weekend I was with a group of friends and neighbors, some buzzers, some not, and at some point amidst the consumption of lots of beer, I exclaimed this was the best neighborhood I had ever lived in. It's true. I lived in at least 15 different metro atlanta neighborhoods over the years, and while I enjoyed each of them, my experiences don't compare to our time in EAV. I attribute the vast majority of the difference to the Buzz, which has allowed us to get connected to countless new friends, and has drawn us into the neighborhood in a manner that I've previously not experienced. Everything from sound advice on countless issues, recommendations on who to hire for this or that, and especially in getting us involved... in animal benefits, in volunteering for the Strut, the beer festival, the tire roundup, in public safety initiatives, and on and on. Borrowing, trading, freebies...and just bumping into anyone and everyone almost anywhere you go...I thank you Ken and the buzz community for all of that.
