Tire Roundup
« on: April 06, 2017, 04:52 pm »
This year all recyclables are free.

Let me know if you can help this year starting at 10 on Saturday the 15th. Need some strong people to pull up 16 tire that will be tied to ropes. Could use some strong rope if anyone has some. If you want to see where the problems tires are it is on both sides of Cecilia just past the church on corner of B'crest.  Anyone with a machete would be warmly welcomed. This event is not for the faint of heart. We have enough trucks for transport just need some muscle. We should be done by noon. We usually have lunch afterwards with us all smelling like "tire juice"!
Called if you can help, if you have some rope or a machete.

Also if you live IN East Atlanta and have tires you want picked up let me know and we will add you to the list.

It doesn't take a committee.  It just takes one person.

I'll be there. Also note Natalyn's card says other hard to recycle items are free to take to Charm that day, too.

Thanks to everyone that came out today and made this a success! Especially those " backbone" persons that dragged the truck tires out of the gulleys!
If you could not make it, there is always next year!
