I can't tell from looking at the permit database, except that the electrical inspector came by yesterday and approved the low-voltage stuff... and since the date of the stop work order complaint other inspectors have been by to approve plumbing and mechanicals.

But let me get this right, they are being inspected, but don't actually have permits for most of what they are doing, such as a proper building permit for pouring concrete?
If this goes through it totally sets president for the future for other people wanting to renovate in the area who know about this.
they have permits for the electrical, plumbing and mechanical work... those inspectors don't look at the other stuff.  I don't know if they've amended their construction permit to expand the scope to cover the other work they've been doing.

Like I said, City knows this is going on. Sets president!

The house is almost finished but apparently has no electricity. They revved up the generator outside our bedroom window at 7:30 this morning.
They're also too cheap to list it with a Realtor. It's For Sale By Owner. I predict it will sit empty until it decays or we will have a string of bad renters living next door. Joy.

protip: Generators can't rev when their gas tanks are full of sugar. Or sand.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity but they've always worked for me.

I'll keep that in mind, but I was getting up at 8 anyway. I'm wondering why they don't have an electrical hookup. Don't builders usually get a temporary meter and then use the home's wiring?
