I'll take any excuse to watch Connie Britton now that FNL is done.

Sometimes I get REAL southern (like even MORE southern than usual, which is saying something), and that's when Stevan knows I've been watching Frydee Naight Laights.

I believe Tate is Constantine's "perfect" son who died.

I'm thinking tate may be frankenbaby the doctor was assembling in the basement.

I don't think so.  I think Frankenbaby is that thing that scared the crap out of that bully cokehead girl in the basement.

And the other reason I think Tate is Constance's son is because of that scene where she waves at him and he doesn't wave back and she looks hurt.  It happens while the real estate agent is putting up that sign.

Loving this show so far.  Really liking how everyone's past is coming back to haunt them, and how all the locals connections to the house are being revealed.  Jessica Lange's character is something else, want to see how Addie's ghost comes back now.  Do you think the Tate has always been the person in the black leather suit, or did he just know about it and 'borrow' it to scare Violet?  Just what will Vivien give birth to?  How will Larry (aka Russell Edgington from True Blood) turn things into a bigger mess for Ben?  Who called Vivien from Hayden's phone?  Was Hayden buried with her phone?

Not real clear on who or what Tate really is.  He obviously has a deep connection to the house.  There seems to be a very fuzzy line between the living and the dead here (as in the neighbor and Moira sub-plot).

One thing that bugs me...what kind of therapist would have his patients come to his house?  I mean...it seems like the worst possible move to mix the personal and professional, even without the supernatural element.

I'm SO in love with this show.  it is perfectly warped, wonderfully written, amazing to watch (great visuals and cinematography), and just BRILLIANT.  this is one that had me from the commercial promos and i just hoped that the show would live up to the awesomeness that those presented.  I have a feeling Tate is one of the TWINS (although, he's not a redhead, but the one was Troy, and they never said the other kid's name)

I'm fascinated by how they're weaving the story lines, past character stories/details, etc.  the only thing that irked me the tiniest bit is the (SPOILER ALERT?) nurse at the ER collapsing and them saying that they were going to get help and then just LEFT when Violet called, without them explaining why she collapsed (what the hell did she see???) or what the deal was with the baby.  waiting for them to come back to that.  omg...i can hardly wait!

and as for the therapist seeing patients in their home--this is not uncommon at all.  usually separate entrance/exit from the rest of the house and set aside from full access to the rest of the house.   i don't know this from experience or anything...    ::)

On youregoingtodieinthere.com, the twins have names, and it's not Tate.  I think the other one is Bryan.

Oh, sorry, actually the family portrait site that names the twins is: http://www.fxnetworks.com/ahsfamily/

But you should check out both websites.

It's actually very common. My grandfather is a psychologist and had a home office for decades.

Well...this show illuminates one very good reason AGAINST doing that:  exposing the family to potentially dangerous characters (e.g., Tate and his daughter).  I'm in no way able to say with any authority, but on a personal level I know if my wife were a therapist, there's no way in hell I'd let patients be anywhere close to my kids.  Not to say they are all a danger to themselves or anyone else, but it just seems like a pretty wide line I'd like to keep intact.

Moira is an interesting character, love how men and women perceive her ghost different ways.

same here!  (and OMG would that i could pull off that hair color!)

did anyone catch that she was able to visit her mother on Halloween and clearly hadn't seen her in a LONG TIME.  i wonder if moira only can exist when someone lives in the house.

so...have we sorted out yet if crazy neighbour lady LIVED in the house or just worked for her for a while?  she did allude to having employed her once "for a short time", but i couldn't tell what house the "incident" took place in.
