this show is all kinds of awesome.

yes. yes it is.
Though for once, I would like a fucking zombie movie to happen in a world where the people seem to actually have a concept of wtf a zombie actually is.
That aside, I'm really liking this one.

This bugs the crap out of me too.  Every, single. zombie movie people are always like OMGZ WUT R THESE THINGS??!??1  IT BIT ME IS THAT BAD????!!!1

Cmon now.  Zombies have been a part of pop culture for decades and people who are in a contemporary film or show should know of or heard of zombies before.

...come to think of it the Michael Cera version 2 guy from Zombieland knew about it.  Maybe that is the only one without the obligatory omg wuts happenin here scenes.

Also, this show is pretty good.  I skipped Bored to Death in favor of it.  I read the comics years ago and this is pretty close.

Also, also, cocks.

Morgan: "You know about the dead people, right? Not the ones they put down. The walkers."
Grimes: "Oh, you mean like zombies???"

OOOOOOOOOH, let me watch, too.  My folks don't have good TV.
Or maybe they're happy and content, living their little donut lives until the monstrous humans come along to rip their doughy flesh open with their teeth, sucking up their jelly innards.

I'm seriously pissed.  My DVR for some reason decided to record this movie on TCM Saturday night instead of the show.  I can't for the life of me figure out what happened and why it didn't record Sunday's show...unless there was some outage on my satellite.  At least they're replaying it late Friday night (I believe).   >:O

I have a copy of the pilot episode that I can put on a memory stick for anyone that wants it.  If you bring me a blank dvd, I can burn it, but the memory stick thing is lots faster....

I liked it.  Never read the comics, so I hope it's actual "good story" and not just "cult following good story" where you have to have an IN to truly appreciate......srrsly, wtf am I talking about....it's zombiez!

Finally got to watch my recording last night.  Zombies in downtown Atlanta was just awesome.  It was more graphic than I expected, but that was a pleasant surprise.  I haven't read the comic, so I don't know where the story's going, but I'm going to keep watching.
