I guess it was $10 - we bought popcorn with the tickets so I wasn't sure about the exact ticket price. To me, it is definitely worth the price. A couple of hours of fascination and laughing - $10 is really pretty cheap. How much would you spend on beer in 2 hours?

Cue crotchety voice: I remember when movies cost $1.50. When prices started to go up, there were "dollar theaters" that showed second-run stuff.
I imagine the "go out to the movies" custom will fade out completely in 10-20 years or so...
