Crazy how much liquor laws have been liberalized over the past 12-24 months.  The big remaining one I'd like to see is the ability to fill growlers in bars rather than just liquor stores.

I've never seen a growler filled at a regular bar or pub...where in the US can you do that?

I think, but am not sure, that you can do this in Portland.

100% legal all over Oregon, at the minimum. I've filled dozens of growlers at Oregon bars.
Next time you drink a homebrew, thank Jimmy Carter, who on October 14, 1978 signed H.R.1337 legalizing homebrewing in the United States.

As I should have put in my original post about this, you should also be able to fill growlers at local breweries, though that one might be a bit harder to sell.

On the grounds it makes too much sense?  :)

That, and their restriction from selling directly to the public in any form: cans, bottles, kegs, or growlers.  That said, we're shedding some of these asinine laws, so why not a few more?

In SC (if you can believe that!)

I honestly can't.  I was pretty floored when that damned mini bottle law was finally done away with tho.  The 1st time I went back after that I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea just so I could watch the bartender pour from all the different bottles.
