I HATE hate hate that they are going to ruin one of my most favorite areas of Atlanta with a freakin' Wall of Marts.
I LOVE Suburban plaza. Mr. Kim takes care of my watches and Ms. Kim alters my most difficult vintage with ease. I only take things that I can not do myself to her and they are complicated and she charges me such a small amount because she loves the clothes. They have ties to East Atlanta because their best friend has lived here for about 85 years.
We love the bowling alley, the fabric store isn't great but it suffices because there is no other I can get to easily on the bus/walking, the thrift stores, antique store, Indian fabric stores and "beauty" stores are all super there. Are they putting the Wal-Mart right where Suburban plaza is? If so, all that stuff will be wiped out. The Kims will be out of business (they are elderly and won't be opening another place, they have been in the current location for 30 years or so.)
