Whle World Theatre or Dad's Garage Improv?

Planning a date night.  Trying to choose between Whole World Theatre impeov or Dad's Garages Improv. Any thoughts?

Haven't been to Whole World Theater, but I've had a great time at Dads Garage and Village Theater improv shows.

You'll have a great time at either one. Personally, I like Dad's Garage more, just due to proximity, easier to get in/out of, restaurants/etc within walking distance...

both are solid. agree with Toddler on the location of Dad's. for a date night it might be better simply because you can hit dinner & a show without having to drive to a second spot.

a bunch of my friends are at Dad's. So I'm biased. Also, they have beer buckets.
Aaaaand, I hate Midtown.
I've heard good stuff about Relapse, too, though.

So basically i am bored and it's raining. So I was just browsing links and reviews...

Between here and facebook, the concensus is Dad's so we now have tickets for tornight.

What's your favorite spot for dinner?

I used to be a constant regular at Dad's, loved their improve and Scandal! as well as most of their plays. I have never been to Whole World, but I wholly endorse Dad's Garage, better location and a fun but hip vibe. Comedy hubby (who has performed at Dad's) characterizes Whole World as a little more stagey/rehearsed/"sitcom-y."

Hit up Fritti or Barcelona beforehand, that sounds like a nice date.

Dad's was absolutely a fabulous choice. I've never laughed so hard. What a fun night!  We ended up hacing burgers at Arthur's. Just wanted a casual night, and both delivered!
