Crazy Laws in Georgia

It is against the law to tie a giraffe to a telephone pole or street lamp in Atlanta, Georgia.
One cannot cut the chicken's head on Sunday and carry the chicken by its feet on Broadway on Sunday in Columbus.
It is illegal for the chicken to cross a road in Quitman.
In Jonesboro, it is illegal to say "Oh, Boy".

Good thing I've never shot mine since moving to the city limits!!

In SC it's illegal to wear pants with back pockets!!  That law dates to prohibition, to keep people from carrying flasks in their back pockets - and there are people in jail for that even now.  If someone want's you out of the way you can be thrown in jail for something silly like that.

Peanut Products and peanut butter are due to peanut allergies that are increasingly common in elementary schools. Just coming in contact with peanut butter left on a table can cause some pretty bad reactions.

Some of the alcohol laws aren't just old laws left on the books, they're still enforced pretty heavily (in GA and other states). One price for two beers, for example.
