I go to Happy Donuts at least once a week on the way to work and there's always other customers in there. I love Happy Donuts.Mi Barrio?? Where's that.
but I guess Kirkwood doesn't really count as SE ATL.

Where's that.Mi Barrio is across from Oakland Cemetery on the corner of Memorial and Boulevard. I personally like it, though I wouldn't say it's anything particularly special. It's way better than Blue Frog was and a totally different style than Holy Taco.
The plus-size lingerie store, I think it's called Smoochies or something. I think I've seen someone walk out of there once in the five years. Wait, is it even still there?

Apparently the Village has done something, since they're still in business after five years of selling to a narrow (or should that be wide?) demographic.

Sounds like I need to turn Kevin loose on them. He'll talk some sense into them.

The super-smoky hipster/biker bar was called what - Aces? Well Aces has closed its doors and a new pub opened up. My Kirkwoodian friends speak highly of this new establishment.

"Well we saw a decline in business so we're gonna do a gastropub because people love gastropubs." Sounds like their heart is really in it.
