Yea, a hardcore deli with REAL hardy deli sandwiches. Good grainy mustard, good bread, big dill pickles that are crunchy, delicious meats! I always love going to the New York deli in Buckhead but something more Deli-ish. A cross between Jewish and German. Right on, Go Sox.

This thread is making me very very hungry.  Last time we had one of these threads, I ended up making hard-core reubens at home...

I've got plucky optimism, a can-do attitude, and no business plan.  I'll open a deli there for ya' Sox!

I'll back you!   |@|

Savi Urban Market in Inman Park makes a very good sandwich and sells deli meats by the lb... and their breads are fantastic... and they have wine!   |@|

They do, but it's quite expensive. I'm talking about a throw-down deli. No arugula or fancy spreads. No thirty ingredients.  I love fancy sandwiches when I'm in the mood, but i have to mentally plan for it.  It shouldn't take 20 minutes to make a sandwich. Great meats, great breads, great cheeses, lettuce, tomato, good mustard, mayo and a fucking pickle!  Done!!! "What's that, ma'am?  You want vegan chutney on your sandwich?  Get the fuck out of my deli!!!" (shouted by a big fat German guy who you hate but keep coming back to in the hope that he will one day like you laugh at one of your awkward jokes and because he makes a darned fine sandwich and the best potato salad on the planet). Gmoney, how much do you weigh?   You don't speak German by chance, do you?
