Gutter cleaner?
« on: June 07, 2011, 04:58 pm »
Can someone recommend a good, inexpensive, gentle gutter-cleaner? The person who has done it before has clumped all over my roof in big boots (and it's an old roof and needs TLC). I live in a small ranch in OP, but have lots of trees, so the gutters are a wreck.

Any ideas?

THANKS!

MK

Bell Roofing cleans my gutters and they do a wonderful job.
Or maybe they're happy and content, living their little donut lives until the monstrous humans come along to rip their doughy flesh open with their teeth, sucking up their jelly innards.

MarciaK I highly recommend http://www.abetterguttercleaning.com/  They do a fantastic job!!  I highly recommend them.  You don't even to be at home when they come.  You can also set up your appointment and/or pay your invoice online.  I am sending you a PM.

you get what you pay for with abetterguttercleaning   they did clean the gutters, but it was two guys on the roof with high powered leaf blowers and then they left the sludge all over the side of the house... they were cheap though!

I have never had a problem with them.  If it happened to you did you let them know about the mess they left?  They ususally are very good about making the customer happy and would do whatever to rectify the problem(s) as quickly as possible.

Lobster-

I used A Better Gutter Cleaning for the first time this spring and had the exact same experience.  Freshly painted trim wood with gutter sludge "sprayed" across it from their blowers.

Then they hit me with an extra $25 charge for my small one car garage after agreeing to include it.  i called the owner and he did remove the charge but it all left a very bad taste in my mouth.  I will be calling Bell next time.
