Anyone know anything? The realty sign is down and the windows are papered.

I was going to mention I saw the paper and the door ajar today - sure seems like something is going in there.

I heard some kind of bakery (from the guy selling Christmas trees at Ormewood and Moreland).

Now I'm going to dream about a real bakery, like the ones of my youth, with hot rye bread and chocolate top cookies and PIE.

Shame it's not of the Australian variety...

Anyone tried the cupcakes yet? By my unofficial count having driven or walked by about 20 times, they have had at least one customer so far.

Is this the place across from Morellis?  If so, we tried two cupcakes from there last week after a not so happy day.  They were delicious and made a bad day much better :).  I don't know how the icing was made but it is fantastic (and I don't really like icing)!!  Also, the woman that waited on us was super sweet and I believe that she said they are going to start trying to have more variety soon.

ETA:  I've had a version of salted caramel cupcakes from several places around the city and this place is hands down the winner for me.
