Stoney Point Park Clean Up - Have Extra Fall Plants?
« on: November 08, 2011, 11:06 am »
Next Clean-up Date: Friday, Nov 18 @ 3 PM

What We Need: Volunteers, tools, yard bags, and especially Fall plants.

Stoney Point Park is a small neighborhood garden area located at the intersection of Woodland and E Confederate Avenues in the Ormewood Park neighborhood. Residents mainly enjoy this area as a lovely view on a stroll through the neighborhood. As neighborhood residents, Red Robin Group is proud to have adopted this park and committed to quarterly upkeep and landscaping maintenance.

Over just a couple seasons Red Robin Group, with the help of some wonderful neighbors, has made great strides in the beautification of this park. We have worked with the East Atlanta Kids Club to implement a beautiful birdhouse installation for passers-by to enjoy. We have also tackled the overgrown nature of this park with great instruction from a neighborhood landscaper and have made great progress in getting the weeds under control.

Our next clean-up date is set for Friday, November 18 at 3 pm. We welcome any and all help from neighbors including labor, tools, yard bags and Fall plants. If you would like to volunteer with us or make a donation to the park, please contact Chelsea by email at chelsea@redrobingroup.com or by phone at 404-254-5206 x8.
