So I have no idea who to thank or if finally the owners after city complaints and ordinance issues finally were forced to, but the repeatedly-failed-half-rebuild house/church lot at 969 Moreland looks like it's being silt fenced and prepped for demolition!!
Technically it's in Ormewood Park so figured anyone nearby around Lyndale or the Moreland stretch around would appreciate it. That thing's been a rodent infested grown over death trap with numerous fires over the years, and has never once been habitable or usable in the 12 years I've had my house across the street.
I'm bouncing over here, one less eye sore. I think my dogs think I'm on crack I'm so happy. No idea if it's a code clean up or demo'ing for rebuild, but ANYTHING will be better, and the folks next door have to be ecstatic too now. Single largest detractor for a few blocks now will be gone.
