Armor Tire
« on: October 16, 2006, 04:52 pm »
I just wanted to give kudos to Armor Tire.  I recently had them do my brakes and replace a brake light that was out.  Dropped my car off at 8:30am on a Monday and they were done with it by around lunchtime.  Really nice and professional.  A friend of mine who lives in Inman Park got tires from them recently, and was very pleased as well.

Yes, I agree, with that I knew someone close that smoked and went to chewing tobacca. Used a spit can which was yuck, and then the door of his car.~Denise

They're on Glenwood down the street from Crave. I had my oil change done there and I thought it would be an all day'er. They were done in about 30 minutes. Very nice people and pleasant to do business with them. Besides, I can walk to and from there.

When the iron plate on Memorial ate my husband's tire, Armor didn't have a replacement (was a new car with weird tires) but they did a temporary fix and gave him directions to Goodyear, which I thought was pretty nice.

Me too.  And they gave me "loaners" while they ordered my tires so that I would have a car for the day.  Then they popped on the new ones in the afternoon.  Good prices and service.

Once again I want to say how happy I am Armor Tire is in the Village. My car wouldn't start and I figured with it being a holiday weekend, I was going to be stuck until Tuesday. But Gene and the guys at Armor got me a battery and mobile again in record time. It is just invaluable to have them within easy walking distance.

I want to share the love as often as possible. One of my fears is that when EAV really becomes the IN place, great convenient businesses like Armor (and East Atlanta Copy) will get priced out of the 'hood.

<3 Armor. They're super friendly, reasonably priced, convenient, and they always call to OK any extra work.
