Great Electrician
« on: June 30, 2009, 12:12 am »
Just wanted to tell y'all about Jeff Electric Corp. Jeff is a magician electrician. We've hired him for a number of big and small jobs around our house in Ormewood, and he's done simply amazing work, which of course is often tedious in an old home.

He'll also stop by sometimes just for us to ask him questions. He's a neighborhood guy, very, very friendly and prompt.

You won't go wrong with Jeff. And ask him about his emerging solar business!

+1 for Jeff.  He just finished a job for me -- showed up in just a few minutes, got it fixed fast and right.

Jeff Stubbs - Great Electrician
« Reply #5 on: September 22, 2009, 09:58 pm »
Jeff strikes again!  We just moved to Ormewood Park and wanted to add extra outlets, over cabinet lighting, wall switches and a TV on our deck.  Jeff came in, took detailed notes and made an estimate on the spot.  He was here for three days, did all of the work much to our liking, patched and sanded the drywall and is coming back to do more work next week.

Great electrician, great guy - we gave him the key to our house, went to work let him do his thing.  We completely trust him with our house and dogs.

Just wanted to pile on here and say I had a great experience with Jeff Stubbs this week.  My electricity went out in half of my house and it looked like I had blown multiple circuits.  Jeff came over and quickly determined that there was a bad connection in the Georgia Power box.  We called Ga Power, and then he proceeded to fix a light fixture that had been out for some time.  Miraculously, as Jeff was packing up, the Georgia Power guy showed up, and told me that it was actually my responsibility to fix the problem in the box.  The repair was minor, but it required a part that is hard to find for old power boxes, and it looked like I was going to have to spring for an entire new box, all of which would have pushed the job to $200+.  Jeff basically sweet talked the technician into going ahead and making the repair, and helped him do it.  In about 10 minutes the electricity was flowing again.  Jeff was at my house for well over an hour, but he only charged me for one hour ($45).

This was my first experience with Jeff but he seems very knowledgeable and conscientious.  I will definitely call him the next time I need an electrician.

Just had Jeff out to my house to put a motion light on the house and fix an outdoor outlet.  He did great work, and did it for a fair price.  Plus he's local and a good guy to boot.  I highly recommend him.

I just called him... Sounds like a good guy - but he's booked up for the week... nothing urgent, just the power to my dishwasher being screwed up...

Several in my subdivision, including me, have used him.  In fact, I need to get on his schedule to change out two ceiling fans.  Wait for him if you can.

Oh, definitely.  It's easy to do without a dishwasher when you're single and not doing much cooking!  :)

Another A1+ reference from us.  Got our ceiling extrator fans hooked up and redid our wiring from the last owner's failed attempts.  Good job well done!

Has anyone heard from Jeff Stubbs lately?  He has not returned my two messages from earlier this month, which is very unusual.

If he has moved, can anyone recommend a good electrician?  I have somewhat of a time crunch now.  Thanks.
