New playgroup forming & new story time
« on: February 17, 2012, 03:00 pm »
The East Atlanta Parents Network has got a new playgroup forming now for the new babies and for those who are expecting. So if you have a child born after 9/1/11, then please send our new playgroup coordinator, Allison Williams, an email at adwilliams8 at gmail dot com.

Also, a new weekly story time/activity time will be starting up next Wednesday at 2pm at the Brownwood Rec Center. All ages welcome. Hosted by neighborhood mom, Jessica Holloman.

Nice! I'm expecting and would love to come and hang out sometime... we're due this August!  ;D

My advice, don't come to a playgroup while you're expecting. My wife did, and she got the wits scared out of her.
Next time you drink a homebrew, thank Jimmy Carter, who on October 14, 1978 signed H.R.1337 legalizing homebrewing in the United States.

Smaller playgroups are fine.  We had lots of Babies and Bellies meetings where the expectant mothers DID NOT leave in tears.  The one Mrs. Q came to was just especially large and boisterous!  I loved our Babies and Bellies group long ago and most of us still hang out!

Yes!  Lots of good friendships made/strengthened through Babies and Bellies.

Yes to all that. Mrs Q had the unfortunate luck to come to the biggest B&B playgroup EVER. And we did form some amazing friendships through B&B. I miss it.

Hahhaa.... well, now you all have me so curious I couldn't possibly stay away!

I have been to a couple of very festive birthday parties for 1yr olds, so hopefully I won't be too shocked. Plus, I am married to the baby whisperer - so I try to take comfort in that if I ever get nervous or think "I don't/won't know what the hell I'm doing!!"
