ode 2 the Newt
Ode to M.R. Gingrich
who says that he's evolved
he's changed his tiger stripes
and now his problems solved
with 2 divorce behind him
his cheating is no longer
he's now a happy grandpa
and his morels are much stronger
but all newts i remember
can be found under a stone
a sleepy slimy lizard
that is often found alone
newts can change their color
to avoid a larger rival
this helps them in their hiding
and ensures a long survival
how will the conservatives
react to allegations
that he asked his former wife
to have some open fornications
his x-wife then rejected
what this newt was really hopin'
that in-fact she'd be receptive
to relationship thats open
the thing that is perplexing
though i know all newts are slick
is that who's the "open" person
who is sleeping with this prick
if those who are conservative
would take a closer look
the only place a newt belongs
is bated on a hook
