Nice apartments in East Atlanta
« on: February 17, 2012, 08:23 pm »
I am looking at houses in East Atlanta and wanting to find a place for my mother to live.  She would like a one bedroom apartment fairly close to the village under $1,000.  Of course I want it to be in a safe, nice building but her only worry is her little dog.  I looked at the apartments of of Moreland at I-20 but did not get a good feeling about them.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?  She is very independent but wants to be close to me and wants to be able to keep her dog.

Check out Enso. I see folks with dogs frequently, and my coworker who lives there really likes the building. Brand new, LEED Gold building with a walkable spot. I know that's a bit of a hike to the village on foot, but if in the price range would be a great option.

I've never heard of that but I will check it out.  Thank you. Any more ideas would be very helpful.

There are a lot of people here who rent out houses, or apartments in houses. Does it have to be a complex?

She does not need a great deal of space or amenities, she needs to keep it under $1000 per month and her dog must be allowed.
