Chuy's is amazing and I have been looking forward to their opening for months.  Hope to head up there this week.

I have a Chuy's t shirt from Austin.  That is kind of exciting they are spreading this way, I'll have to check it out next time up up that way.

They're also opening on Main Street in Tucker - supposedly by late January.  Saw the sign last night on my way home.

Different Chuy's, from what I've been told. Don't know much about the one opening in downtown Tucker. But hey, we have a bar now! (Local 7)
"everything is coconut these days." in related news, she went birding in Sri Lanka and had some great coconut water there.

We are soooo lucky to already have an amazing "sammich" shop in the village.   Urban Cannibals would be hard to beat anywhere, imho.

AGREED! Their sammies are the best. Just enjoyed an Urban Cuban today and it was so delish!  |:)|

For what it's worth, a friend who is a GM of a suburban Mellow Mushroom told me that MM is developing a sandwich-shop type store a la Jimmy Johns, Jersey Mike's, or Erbert & Gerbert.  So, it might not be a standard MM pizza parlor, which I think might have too large a footprint for that space.  Speculation though.

Thankfully, the sandwiches from the pizza locations are really good, and even fill a different need (well, sub-need) than if I wanted a 'sammich' at UC.

Can we all agree that the word "sammich" (for argument's sake I'm allowing it to be a word) is the worst word ever uttered by man or beast?  Am I alone in this assessment?  I hate it so much I see red when I hear it. It's so horrible, that my number 2 least favorite utterance (delish) sounds like virgin mountain monk wind chimes tinkling in comparison.

It really, really does make me want to stab a motherf*cker. So does your number 2.

It's somewhere on my mental list of awful made-up words.  I think it's sammiched between "embiggen" and "guesstimate"..."ridonkulous" is in there too.

(btw...doesn't UC use that word liberally on their menu?)

Probably cos "sammich" finds its root in the command "fix me a sammich, ________"

_________ could be dear, sweetie, female, slut, darlin'.  Or any other endearing term for a lady.

I thought everyone who used that had already died from the obvious and massive brain damage they were suffering from.
