Yep, they were a bit slow with the taking our order part but kind of chalked it up to them getting hit pretty hard earlier (drove through parking lot to the pet store earlier in the day and it looked like they got rocked for lunch that day).  We weren't in a particular hurry so we let it slide (we've both been register/server people before and off days happen).

Definitely understand people will have off days.  I've been a server myself.  But it's been every time we've been.  It shouldn't take more than a minute to take and pay for an order if the customer knows what they want.  Especially for a place that has a fairly limited menu.

Again, fortunately there food keeps us coming back.  Others may not be as forgiving.

So this damn thread gave me a hankering. I tried calling in an order on the way home but the line was busy for 20 mins. I think they forgot to turn the cordless off.

Good news is the new guy at the counter is awesome. Had my order in very quickly and food was out in about 7 mins with 2 orders ahead of me.

We went in last week and ordered food to go. It seems that their ingredients, meat to be exact, wasn't there, seriously, where is the meat? They also forgot some added ingredients too. We called, explained to the counter guy, he apologized and offered to buy us a meal next time we're in. We'll go back and check it out again because I do like their food.

Same here.... and might I add that the potato/egg/chili burrito was damn good for brunch.

It's nice having a straight up Mexican joint in the village again |:)|
