You should get up to Buford Highway more. Plenty of boba up there and no deliberately juvenile names.

Met the two owners this afternoon, and they do plan on being open by Tuesday.

I looked into the window of the not-ice cream place yesterday and saw no evidence that there was any business getting ready to anything in that space besides not sell ice cream.  Unless Ty Pennington was there today and tomorrow, this place will look a lot like the not-ice cream place on Tuesday.

Which might be perfectly suitable for Bahn Mi and bubble tea... I'm no expert...

It is.  Lots of places have an old timey soda shop vibe, just a little off.  Cause they are Asian.

It is. People aren't kidding when they complain about the $4 price tag. At Quoc Huong, my favorite place in town, the sandwiches are $2.50. Come to think of it, that place looks like an ice cream parlor, too...

I hope they are a great success. I will probably go there about as often as I went to the ice cream place.

I can't ride my bike to Buford. It's just too far, and I've been to some places there (admittedly, many years ago) and did not care for them. If I want good ethnic food, I usually  just cook it at home. I had a bubble tea or two on Buford and did not care for it.
What about We Suki Suki is juvenile? The word Suki is not a juvenile word, look it up!

Ice cream parlor might be too cheery of a description for Quoc Houng but yeah, same kinda thing.
Plus at any of the places on Buford Hwy, you usually get some kind of buy 5 get one free kind of deal.

Yes, but does that location have to pay East Atlanta rent? I think that's kind of an unfair comparison. You probably spend a buck fifty in gas getting up there.

I love trying out all the great places on Buford Hwy when I'm up there... but that's just it -- I'm rarely up there.  I don't mind paying a little more for a yummy sandwich when I only have to walk/drive half a mile to get it.

What about We Suki Suki is juvenile? The word Suki is not a juvenile word, look it up!

So it means, we like like, or we like love. From my understanding it is pronounced 'skee' so from the movie Full Metal Jacket when she says "me sucky sucky" a lot of people say it is "me suki suki".

It does seem like a juvenile play on words, but if I go in there and can get anyting I want for $5, I'll stay.
