Armor tire
« on: November 05, 2009, 06:04 pm »
I know its been said here before, but its been awhile so I want to say it again.  Armor Tire rules.  Every time I go there I have had an excellent experience-   fast service, good prices, and super friendly.

Today I had super low tire pressure, a missing pressure gauge, and a sick baby in the car.  I swung by Armor and they were happy to give me a hand.  Its great to have them in the neighborhood!

So true.

The wife had an issue a few weeks ago and they made a house call, hooked her up with a new starter, and got everything going by the end of the day.

Very good to keep in mind that they're more than a tire and oil change shop.  Just call and ask - they'll let you know if your needs exceed their abilities.
Don't trust anyone that wants anything and money.

I am also a believer.  They have been great to us.  I agree about them telling if a work is out of their scope, or if they believe the dealer would do a better job for a specific type of work on a certain kind of vehicle.

Good people.

Just went in Monday with my flat wheelbarrow tire and they fixed it right up.
GDaddy's also always willing to post fliers for community events and to share his space  for car washes and tire roundup, etc. Long live Armor!

I agree!  We have their card on our fridge and try to recommend them to everyone.  They gave me a great price on tires and breaks last year and the car was ready when they said it would be.  It's also great that I can drop the car off at a place that's going to give me a great price/great service and then walk home:).  Speaking of, I need to call them about my oil change and tune up that's due!

I only have one complaint about Armor.  :)  I really wish they would do emissions inspections.  I hate giving my money to someone else.

MNewcomb that is genius!  They could rake in the money but i bet getting the emissions set up is costly.  It would be nice to have a local emissions shop.
Yes, I agree, with that I knew someone close that smoked and went to chewing tobacca. Used a spit can which was yuck, and then the door of his car.~Denise

Always had great experiences with Armor, from routine oil changes to a complete set of brakes.  Finding a reliable mechanic shop (and one so close!) is priceless in my book.
