Wait till he starts running up the score on these guys! Think they are crying now, just wait.

So they have gentleman's agreement to not try and take a kid who has committed to another league school. I say league school because I doubt Michigan shows that courtesy to a MAC school. LOL.This just shows that the Midwest is the inverse of the South. The Great Lakes is about the NFL and then college. People are not pining for Spring Practice like we are here. Friday Night Lights is a southern phenomena. Winning at college football is not as important as it is down here...except at Ohio State. Wisconsin is the #2 football team in its state after the Packers. Illinois is #3 after the Bears and ND. The only school in the Midwest expecting a National Title every year is Ohio State and the proof is ...they hired Urban(Psst! I think ND is in IN. Point taken, though.)Chicago however is in Illinois and has the largest concentration of Catholics of any city in a America; so much so that there are separate high school leagues for public and Catholic schools. So yeah, Notre Dame is the the most popular college team in Chicago by far and more than half the state lives in Chicago.

More playoff ideas. http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/2012/college-football-playoff-coming-in-2014/

I like the idea of games before the title game being played on campus and I actually like the idea (Dan Wetzel's) of always having the title game at the Rose Bowl. Generally separating the "playoff" from the bowl system makes a lot of sense, so that's cool as well.

However, always having the title game at the Rose Bowl, I'm not so crazy about. It will be harder for us SEC folks to get there. Isn't there a nice stadium somewhere in middle of the country big enough to hold the game? I also like having the title game closer to New years day. I don't like the spread out bowl season that much and I hope they will not have another debacle like they did this past year with 3 SEC games on at the same time. It is hilarious that the other conferences are all yelling for a playoff system now.
