One fucking minute. That's how long his hearing lasted. One fucking minute for him to saunter in there, waive his right to a preliminary hearing and then saunter right back out, to his home, when he should be riding this out in jail (IMHO). Well, I guess at least his victims won't have to face him until the trial?

His lawyer is a real piece of shit -- his dropping of football metaphors was a joke, right? He didn't actually compare this trial to a fucking winning Penn State football game, did he?

How long would you expect "I waive this right" to take? Blame the media for making a big deal about this "hearing" today.

Yeah, I don't think anything that happened in that hearing was going to determine whether or not the case went forward.

In the words of the great Vinny Gambini, "There's no way this is not going to trial."

For sure. There are WAY more than two utes in this case.

What CK said. This was just a non-story whipped up by the Nancy Graces of the world. These hearings are generally non-events, and in particular I'd think that he'd waive the hearing for reasons that are now pretty obvious.
If he gets an MLB contract, all is forgiven.

Rest easy, everybody. Mr. Sandusky was simply teaching the boys "how to put soap on their body"

I am just at an utter loss about the amount of bullshit that very brief article contains. I'm still waiting for the Chewbacca Defense to make an appearance in this case.

Hey hey hey, let's not be so dismissive.  I think about how much further I might have gone in life, if only someone had taught me proper lathering.  It could be the difference between a Pulitzer and a 1:00 trolling of a neighborhood message board.

And to be fair, Sandusky's lawyer now says he was not offering this as a defense in Jerry's case, but rather just generally noting that kids from troubled home often need instruction in things such as lathering.

Right. Just idle musings. I do that all the time during press conferences too.

Yep. I hope he enjoys his eternity in Hell as a 10-year-old boy in a Penn State shower.
