Protective case for a Kindle Fire
« on: December 26, 2011, 03:35 pm »
My daughter received a Kindle Fire as a Christmas gift.  Any suggestions for a good case that will protect it? Main concern is her 3 year old sister may get a hold of it. Thanks.

My 2.5year olds tell me that this won't be sufficient.

Next time you drink a homebrew, thank Jimmy Carter, who on October 14, 1978 signed H.R.1337 legalizing homebrewing in the United States.

We got our case at Best Buy. There were all kinds there but nothing with a lock. ;)

I think we are just wanting some sturdy protection in case it gets "dropped".  Fortunately, Grandma thought ahead and bought little sis a kiddie laptop which is distracting her for the time being.

I don't know if OtterBox makes Kindle covers, but their iphone case is magical...

I looked at the one on Amazon and it does look pretty nice.  I think something like the Otterbox might be better for our purposes.  Cannot tell if they will work with the Kindle Fire from the website. And one that looks like it might work is sold out.

I have an awesome Kindle case from www.padandquill.com that has really held up well for the last year. Looks like they have one for the Fire too. They're a bit pricey but totally worth it, in my opinion.
