Art Supply Store
« on: November 07, 2011, 10:07 pm »
Why the hell doesn't someone open one in EAV?  Slimmed-down, essentials version of Utrect/Dick Blick.  There are tons of artists, professional and otherwise, in this hood.  Can't count the number of needless and expensive trips to Utrect, etc. to pick something up.  Kind of business that would have a lot of steady customers I would think.  Throw in some crafts; model section for the kiddies, etc.   Honestly, its the single retail idea that I think would have a near 100% chance of success in this hood and no one seems to think of doing it.

Jes throw'in it out there.  Ugh.  Gotta run up to the art store tomorrow.

I said this to someone the other day (bvbratt - are you listening?).  I am so tired of running to Michael's.

I wish they would put a Michael's or Sam Flax closer to East Atlanta. Yes, you have to drive a ways to get to one.
